Profitable Steam Turbine Operation and Maintenance is intended for operating and maintenance personnel who need an overall understanding of the complete steam turbine system. It is an interactive study of the fundamental systems of the steam turbine and will stress performance and maintenance issues affecting the efficiency and reliability of steam turbines. Familiarity with basic operating parameters and mechanical concepts will be helpful. Case studies will be presented to illustrate real world problems and students will work in teams to solve troubleshooting, operating and maintenance issues. Participants may submit questions in advance regarding troubleshooting, operating and maintenance issues faced in their jobs.
