OBJECTIVES PELATIHAN ADVANCED WELL CONTROL
Techniques are presented to forecast producing capacity for different conditions. The key to reliable production forecasting is proper testing before and after stimulation. Emphasis is on understanding the flow behavior in tight rocks, natural fractures, and stimulated reservoirs. The course is designed to evaluate the flow regimes seen in pressure transient tests including wellbore storage, damage, transient flow, linear flow, and finite systems. Methods are developed to evaluate reservoir properties from log-log plots and pressure derivative curves. Emphasis is on analyzing basic physical behavior to interpret complex well tests, including dual porosity, multiphase flow, and horizontal wells.
COURSE CONTENTS ADVANCED WELL CONTROL TRAINING
- Introduction: Wellbore area definition of parameters, finite wellbore solution (PDCI), skin effect
- Basic Methods: Miller-Dyes-Hutchinson (MDH) analysis–falloff; Horner analysis–buildup, falloff drawdown, negative drawdown, buildup,; gas analysis – high-pressure gas, low-pressure gas, real gas potential; multiphase analysis; estimating parameters; type curves
- Early Time Behavior: Linear flow analysis, infinite conductivity fractured wells, storage and linear flow, storage and finite conductivity fractures
- Log-Log Plots, Derivative Curves, Open-Flow Potential Testing, Drillstem Testing, Buildup Type
