Description
This course is designed to broaden the emergency skills and knowledge of the individual which working on offshore installations in tropical regions, and how to respond effectively and appropriately to emergencies onboard these installations. The survival of an offshore worker can depend on his knowledge of what to do in an emergency and how to prevent an emergency from occurring. This course trains the worker to prevent emergencies and to respond to emergency situations, which may occur when working on an offshore installation.
Objectives
During the course delegates will gain a basic level of understanding and awareness of safety and emergency response procedures on offshore installations.

· Basic Safety Induction
· First Aid and Survival Phase Development
· Basic Fire Fighting and Self Rescue Techniques
· Helicopter Safety Awareness
· Helicopter Emergencies and Underwater Escape Procedures
· Lifeboat and travel Safety by Boat
· Search and Rescue Operations
