Course Description Pelatihan Reservoir Characterization

This is a 5 day course that covers a wide range of data acquisition and interpretations that are needed for accurate reservoir characterization. The course will address the various disciplines in the oil and gas industry and the integration of these data. Petroleum Reservoirs are essentially very complex and heterogeneous. The process of accurate reservoir characterization is an ongoing process of adding data, integrating this new data with the old data and enhancing our knowledge of the reservoir. In this respect, core data, cased-hole data and 3D and 4D seismic are also essential components to the original Open Hole data that was used to describe the reservoir.
Such a course is essential for the industry. It promotes more use of the data in an effective and in an integrated way. It is a common knowledge that most of the data acquired in the oil and gas sector tends to be used in their specific domain. In this respect most of the data application tends to be lost or overlooked.
Although the course is only for 5 days, there is a limit to the depth of presentation for each of the topics to be presented. However, the course material includes a much larger volume of literature that can be used for future reference and self education.
